Skilo is the Greek word for dog. Since I am Greek and Sammy puppies sort of look like polar bear’s I decided to name my kennel Skilo Bear.
I have been breeding and showing Samoyeds since the late 1980’s. All dogs that are used for breeding have all the required health clearances and are healthy and free of any health issues. All dogs owned by me are CHIC clear.

Obie’s first major win came in the Best of Breed category, where he triumphed over many impressive specials. This was quickly followed by a Winners Dog title at a Regional Specialty. Soon after, Obie earned his AKC Championship and, just weeks later, his Grand Championship. Bronze, Silver, Gola, and Platinum Grand Championships followed in rapid succession.
Now retired from the show ring, Obie continues to shine in new ways. He attends special events, participates in performance activities, and cheers on his offspring from the sidelines. These days, he finds joy as a therapy dog and reading companion at his local library, sharing his love and calm presence with others

Corbyn has a great personality and work ethic. He has been a therapy dog since he was 6 months old. He has visited nursing homes, rehab centers and currently he is the reading dog for our town library. Every month kids flock to story hour so that they may cuddle with Corbyn.
